Population of Multan is growing day by day many changes are made to this board as mentioned Multan board It previously contained Dera Ghazi Khan, Quetta, Kallat and Bahawalpur in its Jurisdiction but in 1968 Quetta and Kallat separated.

After some time in 1978 Bahawalpur Board was also established independently and at last 1989 Dera Ghazi Khan board also got separated therefore now jurisdiction of Multan board consist of districts Multan, Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran these all changes brought positive changes in the board it was due to growing population. This is self-financing board and don’t need help of welfare departments sometimes just government provides it some funds. Main objective of the board is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and providing students with certificates after that. Punjab education commission was formed in the year 2005 by government of Punjab with objective to monitor and control examination for 5th and 8th class in Punjab. Many colleges and schools are affiliated with the board.

10th class is part II matric its examination is conducted in the month of March and April. Many students appear as regular as well as private students. Registration for examination start in the month of January and these forms are provided online and also posted to the affiliated colleges. After that roll number slips and date sheets are provided in the month of January. Examination this year also for 10th class was conducted in the month of March and April 2023. Then many students are waiting for results it will be announced in the month of May and June and will be declared on the official website of the board we will also display on our website.
