On 30th march 1968 by ordinance of west government of Pakistan government of Multan was formed and after that board of intermediate and secondary education Multan was also formed that is BISE Multan and there are many huge changes made in the board those are as following It previously contained Dera Ghazi Khan, Quetta, Kallat and Bahawalpur in its Jurisdiction but in 1968 Quetta and Kallat separated.

After some time in 1978 Bahawalpur Board was also established independently and at last 1989 Dera Ghazi Khan board also got separated therefore now jurisdiction of Multan board consist of districts Multan, Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran. Main objective of the board is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th examination in the region and providing students with certificates there. Punjab education commission that is PEC it was formed in the year 2005 with main purpose to monitor and control examination of 5th and 8th class. There are many government and private colleges affiliated with the board and many students appear there as private and regular students.

HSSC examination that is higher secondary school certificate that is intermediate part I and part II that is 1st year and 2nd year. Examination by the board is conducted in the month of April and May. Registration for examination starts in the month of February and these forms are either posted to affiliated colleges or provided online to students after that roll number slips and date sheets are provided to students that in in the month of march this year also in 2014 examination for intermediate were conducted in the month of April and May many million students are waiting for results.Result will be declared in the month of July or August that is on the official website of the board and we will also display it on our website too.
